Teaching Jobs:
NHA is an elementary school for kids in Kindergartner through 6th Grades. We are seeking full time teachers to be part of our elementary staff. The qualified candidate must have the following skills and experiences;
• Working experience with Elementary grades students
• Teaching certificate (IA certification preferred)
• Great communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good working ethics
• Great personality and works well with kids, parents and school board
• Experience with develop themes, lesson plans and ideas for teaching.
• Ability to develop teaching and development plans and measure outcomes.
• Teach, support, motivate and encourage students in all aspects of school activities.
• Assist students in educational as well as social and behavioral growth by giving them numerous and varied learning opportunities.
• Meet with parents, staff and other professionals that work with the children to provide complete plans for all children in the classroom.
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and praise diversity.
B) Substitute Teacher/s for Kindergarten and /or Elementary Grades (No experience required)

Preschool and Childcare Position
New Horizons Academy is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions;
A) A full time Preschool and childcare teacher to work Monday through Friday.
The qualified candidate must have the following skills and experiences;
• Working experience with Kids in a child center or school.
• Great communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good working ethics
• Great personality and works well with kids, parents, coworkers and School board
•Flexible, energetic and reliable.
• CPR, First Aid, Child Mandatory reporting certifications are preferred
• Teach, support, motivate and facilitating age appropriate activities that promote emotional, social, intellectual and physical development.
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and praise diversity.
B) Substitute Teacher/s for Child Care
Substitute Childcare teacher must have the above qualification and seeking as needed arrangement.
